One of the requirements of a Certified Clinical Adventure Therapist is certification in first aid and CPR that is consistent with setting of practice. Join RelateAbility for an Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED training on July 31st at Cielo Vista Team Challenge. This is a special opportunity to learn and engage with other group facilitators and counselors. Training will be provided using a blended learning format (i.e., a combination of online and in-person learning). In-person skills training will be held at from 9:00 am to 11:30 pm.
The purpose of the courses in the First Aid/CPR/AED program is to help participants recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing, and first aid emergencies. Participants completing certification will demonstrate knowledge and skills which provide immediate care to a suddenly injured or ill person until more advanced medical personnel arrive and take over.
Training will be provided using a blended learning format (i.e., a combination of online and in-person learning). In-person skills training will be limited to up to twelve (12) participants in each session, but multiple sessions can be provided to meet your team's needs. Certification, valid for two (2) years, will be awarded to students who successfully complete all course requirements.
