RelateAbility's Purpose & Mission
Please take time to think of someone important to you who works in the education or social service fields. It could be a teacher, social worker, counselor, therapist, nurse, doctor… Now consider of all the people you could have thought about, why this person came to mind. Chances are you love them, they’ve helped you or someone you love, you know they might be struggling on some level, or it's you. It could be a combination of any of those.
My mission is to help that person when they need it, whether it’s through strategic planning and goal setting workshops, teambuilding activities with their colleagues, or professional development and training. I am especially honored when I can provide experiences for them which help them connect more effectively and enjoyably with their students and clients. I also strive to promote wellness with them so they can lead fulfilling lives in ways that rejuvenate them to serve others. And I like to do that in kayaks, in parks, on an archery range, on a ropes challenge course, as well as in office settings.

RelateAbility, PLLC is my effort to help connect people to accomplishments in their personal and professional lives. My name is Fred Borroel. I've served many roles in the social service field. My most rewarding experiences have come when I successfully engage people in conversations and activities that help them recognize their own capacity for enhancement and growth.
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor, Supervisor in Texas. Since graduating from Our Lady of the Lake University, I've committed to many different projects, but at the heart of it all has been my passion to strengthen connections among people and to help empower people and groups.
RelateAbility, PLLC evolved from years of conversations and experiences with friends, family members, clients, and colleagues. I'm excited about exploring how I can serve you. Chances are pretty good helping you reach your goals will come, at least partially, through the use of experiential learning and adventure programming. I have learned to trust these methods for building community, creating opportunities for success, and unlocking important conversations.
