What We Do

RelateAbility offers customized facilitation, training, and experiential learning opportunities-- designing experiences that support staff connection, leadership growth, and team wellness. Whether the goal is strategic planning, professional development, or a team-building event, our work is built to help people learn, reflect, and grow.

We meet teams in environments that best support their growth. This includes offices, museums, ropes challenge courses, archery ranges, kayaks, and other experiential settings. We create space in each setting for honest conversation, collaboration, and practical learning that carries back into the workplace.

Who We Serve

We work especially well with:

  • Leaders responsible for staff culture, retention, and development
  • Social service professionals and agencies
  • Educators, schools, and educational programs
  • Counselors, therapists, and behavioral health teams
  • Family support and community-based programs

Individuals within these organizations often carry complex responsibilities and high emotional demands. RelateAbility provides a relational, grounded approach that helps teams strengthen connection keeping in front of mind the real work they are there to do.

Why RelateAbility

As people do their best work when they feel trusted, valued, and equipped, we have built our approach to center on relationship-building, wellness, and experiential learning rather than lecture-only training.

Clients often describe their experiences as grounding, energizing, and transformative. They report stronger trust among teammates, better communication, increased confidence, and a renewed ability to support one another in meaningful ways.

Christine Norton, PhD, LCSW, describes Fred as “grounded in trauma-informed care” and “highly relational” in his work with individuals, families, groups, and organizations. That same perspective shapes every RelateAbility experience.

What Clients Experience

Organizations that work with RelateAbility often notice positive shifts in how their teams communicate and collaborate. One human resources representative shared that people became “more trusting and confident in the work of their teammates,” which improved performance.
